Key Concept Trust and Respect.

nurturing a benevolent sense of life At TMA, we help infants become confident, joyful human beings. Benevolence grows when infants trust their caregivers. Our Montessori teachers earn that trust each day by treating infants as valued individuals who are learning to make sense of their world. Our teachers observe and respect the child’s play, instead of interrupting or providing unneeded help. They explain what they’re about to do (“I see your diaper is wet. I’m going to pick you up now so we can get you a nice dry diaper.”) instead of swooping in without warning. They use kind voices and exhibit never-ending patience.
